God loves me...

I finally got the answer I've sought for so long from the Lord. It amazes me that I was so stubborn for so long & refused to accept the fact that he loves me more than I can comprehend. and loves me so much that he wants to bless me literally beyond measure. I'm humbled that it took such a awesome display of that love to make me see, & open my eyes. I can almost hear the lord telling me "O ye of little faith"

How many times do we look at all the things around us & the situations we are in and think; "Why is this happening to me Lord?" "Why are you giving me all this blessing?" and what we never realize, (or at least I've never realized) is that it doesn't matter why... what matters is that we see the beauty & grace of our Lord, and accept the gift(s) that we are meant to receive.
I'm extremely humbled that I blocked this gift from God for so long, all because I tried and failed miserably as most do in western culture to put God in a box, and I didn't knowingly do it, but subconsciously I had done just that. Scripture that comes to me is out of Ephesians 2:6-7;

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
I've never thought about the simple undeniable fact that God holds me higher than I could ever hold myself, and he deemed me worthy of his son, even when I do not deserve it. And every day that I am here, he wishes to give me the riches of his grace and love in the most amazing ways. Who am I to say no to that? Lord forgive me that I have...

For his Glory...In his name...

Blessings

AMEN! God is so big. Praise be to Him for His agape love. Psalm 73:26 "My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. So true the way of the world and the flesh is wicked, but the way of the Lord is righteous.
For He has lifted us up and made us whole when we are broken. In Him we are a new creation. Thank you Lord, for breaking those chains and the bondage and strife that this world can place on us.
God's gifts are overflowing, abundantly blessing beyond measure. Isn't it amazing the way God works when you trust in Him? God gives us these gifts unselfishly, and all he expects in return is for us to love Him. That has got be the best decision I have ever made! I think of this imagery when I think of God's love, we are thirsty and before us sits an empty cup, God knows that we are thirsty and He doesn't just fill the cup enough to satisfy our thirst, but he fills the cup until it overflows. His love is more than enough. It is overflowing. Praise be to Him that He moves us and changes us and stretches us to be all that we are called to be in Him.

Thanks be to God for the work that He is doing in your life and that He is able to break you free from the bondages of your past.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plan to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for hope and a future."

Isn't it great to know that even with everything wonderful the Lord has brought into ours lives. He looks at it and thinks this is only the beginning.

Brad, I'd almost say that anyone who doesn't initially struggle with the idea that God loves them and wants to bless them in spite of their human nature either has an overinflated opinion of how loveable they are, or has been blessed by a revelation from God.

But, now that you do see this, walk in it and hold tightly onto it. For me it has been the revelation that is most frequently attacked. If the enemy can get me to forget this simple, but outrageous truth, then all manner of other deceptions can also take hold.
