Reading the Jerusalem Post from time to time, I'm usually saddened by what I read there. but it's reality, and the truth is, there's not much I can do about it. I can't help but remember the words of Jesus; "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" But I realize in the fallen state & "Power-over" governments that plague the world it's not possible.
I can't help but feel pain for the Israeli's, as a government they have no choice but to respond in a "tit-for-tat" way as all governments do. It saddens me though that I'm watching God's chosen people tear themselves apart. At the same time I wonder and imagine with the imagination God gave me...(Thank you lord) what it would look like if there was no struggle.. and the region lived in peace with each other. It sure would, at least for me bring a new meaning of the term "Holy-land" because they would be "holy" and set apart from the rest.
Oh well, All I can do is wait for the return of the king and place my hope in him and him alone until that day.
