I'm not sure about anyone else, but I know for me that God likes to show up in the tiny little places of my life where I least expect him, and in the moments that we may not think are "God" moments but really are if we look at them from afar. In the past couple years I have been through a lot of things, and most good, some really bad. but overall, I know that God's been there the whole time guiding me through it all & comforting me when I need it and encouraging me through the Spirit and through my friends as well.
It was a huge blessing in my (now Ex) Fiance' that I found Woodland Hills and have remained there even after the Lord led us apart. I saw the Lord in the midst of that emotional "Grand-Canyon" of pain & hurt. and he lead me out of that. and even in the happiest times I'm so thankful for the gift of laughter and joy that we get to experience when we are in true community with one another. Its these tiny little places that make me step-back and realize the fullness of God in my own limited capacity, because I get to see how interwoven that he is within us and in our lives. what a wonderful gift!
As our Covenant group got together last night to enjoy a few games of bowling and to celebrate a birthday.. YES BRUCE.. you're REALLY 49!! (lol) I reflect back on the night & praise God for giving us the joy and ability to experience the love as brothers and sisters in Christ that we were always meant to. Thank you Lord, for giving us the ability to experience the joy you give us... even in the tiny places. It was a huge blessing in my (now Ex) Fiance' that I found Woodland Hills and have remained there even after the Lord led us apart.
