A tool for the "Carpenter"

We all know that Jesus was a carpenter, and most of us also know that carpenters usually have many tools in their toolboxes and belts that they use to fashion things the way they need to be. I have to lift up the name of Jesus today, and praise him for what he has allowed me to be used for. One of the most long-time prayers in my life since I came to the Lord myself, was that my family would come to know Jesus as their savior too.

My mom, has attended church and went here or there, but after asking her outright admitted that she did not know Jesus, or understand what or who he was. I've been witnessing to her in many ways the past few years as I have been led, and a few times came close to being in a position to walk her through the steps to salvation & repentance.

Praise God that day I've waited for & dreamed about was today, at 7:30 am my mom accepted Christ as her personal savior & prayed with me to start living out a life filled with Christ instead of the world. PRAISE GOD!!!! I'm so overjoyed as I write this that these words I pray that whomever they land on would be encouraged and overjoyed as I am, as another one of the Lord's children have come home.

PRAISE GOD!!!

Brad,

Isn't that just like God....you go to Mexico to "do" missions but you come home and He has you continue to "do" missions in your own family!

Also, how cool that you gave "life" to the very woman who gave you "life". God is not done with you brother!

blessings and love,
marcia

P.S. Now I know why you haven't been posting...you've been BUSY!!
