I'm sure most of us in our lives have points where we fall short of God's plan and realize it and move on. But have you ever had a moment where you have stumbled and fell, cried out to God for help and honestly been lifted up past the point of being "
ok" and to the point of being strengthened more than we thought possible? I am far from being what most people deem a "Decent Christian" I still fail in my walk from time to time, although through Christ those times are growing fewer everyday. As a
bona-fide "Prayer Warrior" I find myself being cleansed and purified in Christ more and more. Knowing the truth from the word in that Jesus calls us to walk with him to be cleansed, not to cleanse ourselves and then walk with him.
Luke 5:8-11 (NIV) When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" For he and all his companions were astonished at the catch of fish they had taken, 10and so were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, Simon's partners.
Then Jesus said to Simon, "Don't be afraid; from now on you will catch men." So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
