It seems as though all we ever see in the news is death, People killing indiscriminately as terrorists, people killing for sport as "Serial-killers" or the ever present killing of innocent people by accident. One would think that news outlets would move on to another kind of story after years of the same reporting, leading us all to read the same gruesome details as we flip the pages of a newspaper, or click the "next-page" link on a website. But alas it is not so, my question is; “Why can't the media report on anything more positive than death?” it's just a bit disconcerting to turn on the TV for a weather report in the evening, and have to wait through 5 stores revolving around people dying in one form or another just to see if it's going to rain or shine the next day. I suppose human life has become so mundane, and routine to the news media that they have "sensationalized" themselves out of work almost, which is why new ways for people dying are always big hits and high-ratings grabbers. But in the end, to me anyway it's just plain sad.
