Do Video games cause Violence? You Decide...

In one of the many college courses I am currently taking, I have to take on the task of video game violence, Does playing violent or even semi-violent video games increase the chance of someone (i.e. young children) committing a violent act? I say no, mostly because of personal experience and research over the past couple years. It seems as though the media is always looking for their "smoking gun" linking whatever problem of society with whatever they deem as the most likely culprit. It's too judgmental, and unfair in my opinion, but this study by Jeffrey Goldstein, Ph.D. Makes a good case on the opposite side of the issue, arguing that the studies are somewhat flawed.
